In January, 2010, Members of NAPO Charleston organized some
of the administrative offices at:
Trident Literacy Association

At least 60,000 adults in the tri-county area do not have a high
school credential.  1 in 7 people nationally are functionally illiterate.
 Trident Literacy Association has helped to serve approximately
10,000 people in the Charleston area.

With a staff of 20, and over 250 volunteers, Trident Literacy
Association serves approximately 2,500 people each year.
